Missing Children's Awareness Day

A fifth grade student in Colorado will be recognized for his/her poster that representing Colorado in a national campaign sponsored by the United States Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to honor missing children across the nation as part of National Missing Children’s Day in May.

The CBI and the DOJ commemorate the valiant and unselfish acts of the many organizations and individuals who bring our missing children home.  The CBI will recognize the winning student and his/her poster as part of National Missing Children’s Day at an event in Colorado slated for May 20, 2015 at the Colorado State Capitol (pending).

Tens of thousands of children are reported missing each year. Law enforcement, citizens, and even children have been instrumental in keeping children safe and returning them home to their families, communities and schools.
