DENVER — Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Passenger Tramway Safety Board and Title Insurance Commission.
The Passenger Tramway Safety Board sets safety standards for the maintenance and operation of passenger tramways.
For a term expiring June 30, 2018:
Samuel P. Williams of Mesa, to serve as a representative of area operators, and occasioned by the resignation of Elizabeth Ann Howe of Eagle, appointed.
The Title Insurance Commission is an advisory body to the Commissioner of Insurance concerning matters of title insurance. The Commission’s duties include proposing, advising and recommending rules subject to approval by the Commissioner for the implementation and administration of the business of title insurance.
For terms expiring Aug. 5, 2021:
Gary Glenn of Tabernash, to serve as an at-large public member who is not engaged in the business of title insurance and resides outside of a standard metropolitan area, reappointed;
John Richard Lucero of Thornton, to serve as an at-large public member who is not engaged in the business of title insurance, appointed;
Phillip Michael Schreiber of Littleton, to serve as a licensed employee of a title insurance company with not less than five years of experience in the title insurance business, reappointed;
Steven Elwin Wood of Littleton, Colorado, to serve as a resident title insurance agent with not less than five years experience in the title insurance business, appointed.
