Gov. Hickenlooper to attend Colorado Springs veterans event

DENVER — Tuesday, July 8, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper will recognize and honor veterans who are graduating Wednesday from the Veterans in Piping (VIP) Program. The VIP program is a 16-week welder training program specifically designed to recruit and train veterans discharging from the military, and placing the graduates into a Department of Labor authorized Apprentice Program.
