DENVER — Friday, April 11, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced an appointment to the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

The Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission promotes the responsible development of Colorado’s oil and gas natural resources by balancing the efficient exploration and production of oil and gas resources, the prevention of waste and the protection of the public health, environment and mineral owners’ rights. This member is appointed for a term expiring July 1, 2015:

DENVER — Wednesday, April 9, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced an appointment today to the Urban Drainage and Flood Control Districts Board of Directors.

The Urban Drainage and Flood Control Districts Board of Directors assists local governments in the planning, design, construction and maintenance of multi-jurisdictional drainage and flood control projects. Four members of the 23-member board are mayors from Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder and Jefferson counties. The member appointed for a term expiring January 31, 2016:

DENVER — Tuesday, April 8, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced these Boards and Commissions appointments today. The appointments were to the Air Quality Control Commission, the Economic Development Commission, and the Statewide Independent Living Council.

The Air Quality Control Commission develops and maintains a comprehensive program for the prevention and control of air pollution in Colorado. The major goal of this program is to meet national ambient air quality standards. The members are appointed for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2017:

The Interagency Coordinating Council advises the Colorado Department of Education on implementation of the Education of the Handicapped Act amendments of 1986. The appointments were to the Automobile Theft Prevention Board; the Colorado Tourism Office; the Education Leadership Council; the Emergency Planning Commission; the State Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council; the Statewide Independent Living Council; the Stroke Advisory Board; and the Workers’ Compensation Cost Containment Board.
