Gov. Hickenlooper announces Boards and Commissions appointments

DENVER — Tuesday, June 14, 2016 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs.

The Colorado Commission of Indian Affairs was designed to be the official liaison between the two Ute Tribes and the State of Colorado. The Commission works on a government-to- government basis with each of the two Tribal governments and to maintain direct contact with the Tribes and urban Indian communities.

DENVER — Tuesday, May 31, 2016 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Commission on Family Medicine.

The Commission on Family Medicine assures that family medicine residency programs maintain high quality training, approves and recommends allocation of state funds to the programs, locates areas of the state that are underserved by family physicians, offers ideas on providing medical care to the medically indigent in the state, and supports the development of rural training programs.

John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Identity Theft and Financial Fraud Board, Board of Trustees for Adams State University, State Board of Stock Inspection Commissioners, Colorado State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, Colorado Limited Gaming Control Commission, Colorado Medical Board, Ground Water Commission, Stroke Advisory Board, Hospital Provider Fee Oversight and Advisory Board, Developmental Disabilities Council, Colorado Water Conservation Board, and the Water Quality Control Commission.
