DENVER — Sunday, May 11, 2014 — Gov. John Hickenlooper and wildfire experts on Monday, May 12, will discuss the outlook for this year’s wildfire season. This is an annual presentation provided by the governor and the Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, the U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management. 

The governor will also sign three bill at the wildfire briefing:

  • HB14-1008 “Allow CWRPDA Private Entity Forest Health Loans”

  • HB14-1010 “Corrections to Prescribed Burning Program Laws”

  • SB14-164 “Aerial Firefighting Fleet Acquisitions”
