DENVER — Monday, Sep. 12, 2016 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Board of Trustees for the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind and the Nursing Home Innovations Grant Board.
The Board of Trustees for the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind advises and consults with the Commissioner of Education regarding the management of the school and the education of its students.
For terms expiring July 1, 2020:
- Andy McElhany of Colorado Springs, a Republican, reappointed;
- Misty Dawn Whitetree of Colorado Springs, an Unaffiliated, appointed.
The Nursing Home Innovations Grant Board reviews and makes recommendations regarding the use of moneys in the Nursing Home Penalty Cash Fund.
For terms expiring September 1, 2019:
- Cathryn Cheri Green of Littleton, an employee of a long-term nursing care facility, appointed;
- Kristine K. Moore of Colorado Springs, an employee of a long-term nursing care facility, appointed.
