DENVER — Thursday, July 6, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the State Board of Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners and Peace Officers Standards and Training Board.

The State Board of Licensed Professional Counselor Examiners adopts rules and regulations, conducts examinations and grants or denies licenses.

DENVER — Thursday, June 29, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the State Board of Assessment Appeals, State Emergency Medical and Trauma Services Advisory Council and Tony Grampsas Youth Services Board.

The State Board of Assessment Appeals hears appeals filed by real and personal property owners on the valuation placed on their property.

DENVER — Tuesday, June 27, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper announces Boards and Commissions appointments to the State Board of Parole, Sales and Use Tax Task Force, Securities Board and Transportation Commission.

The State Board of Parole holds hearings and considers applicants for parole, and conducts all proceedings involving revocation of parole.

DENVER — Thursday, June 22, 2017 — Serve Colorado, the Governor’s Commission on Community Service, is now accepting nominations for the 2017 Governor’s Service Awards. These awards are presented in appreciation to individuals, community and civic leaders, various organizations, and AmeriCorps members for outstanding contributions to volunteerism and service throughout the State of Colorado.
