Gov. Hickenlooper announces Boards and Commissions appointments

DENVER — Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the eHealth Commission and State Board of Nursing.

The eHealth Commission supports the implementation of the state's Health IT strategy and interoperability objectives by setting goals for Health IT programs and creating a process for developing common policies and technical solutions.

DENVER — Monday, Jan. 30, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced Boards and Commissions appointments to the Discovery Project Steering Committee and Sickle-Cell Anemia Advisory Committee.

The Discovery Project Steering Committee was created to develop, enhance and maintain a statewide discovery sharing system to create more predictable state costs associated with criminal discovery.

National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils to gift three 100,000 fitness centers to Colorado schools

DENVER — Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 — Gov. John Hickenlooper today announced that fitness icon and chairman of the National Foundation for Governors’ Fitness Councils (NFGFC) Jake Steinfeld has selected Colorado to kick-off its 2017 DON’T QUIT! fitness campaign. The NFGFC will deliver $100,000 fitness centers to three Colorado schools that demonstrate leadership in getting and keeping their students fit.
